Theatrical yet very emotional show that Thom Browne showcased for this season runaway. As for the collection, it felt pretty dark and depressing imagery. However, it was packaged in a stunningly beautiful design and tailoring. This season was inspired by an exhibition work from Metropolitan Museum’s Death Becomes Her; which showcasing the mourning clothes from the 19th century. Black was the main colour for Thom Browne palette this fall/winter collection. The main ambience looks like a feeling to dress-up for someone’s funeral in a very high-fashion way. The other highlights of this collection would also be the amazing headpieces or face covering that design looking pretty modern and edgy. Browne’s soundtrack for this collection was one of Björk’s track for her latest album that sounds pretty sad and gloomy, which perfectly support the whole entire show. Grieving Girls definitely will be the highlights look for this season. Sounds pretty emo right?! (Text Dinta Jakile)
