Born in Taiwan, Australian citizen, and actually based in New York, photographer Paul Jung has embarked on an artistic journey that has taken him around the world. After studying architecture, graphic design and art direction, Jung has created a visual language of his own. Graduated from Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan for bachelors in graphic design and art direction, he sought higher education in the School of Visual Arts in New York, freshly graduated last year and now he is represented by Artist & Agency.
His work includes the detail that almost perfection, abstract visual manipulation and the simplicity of traditional craft. W Magazine labeled Jung “One to Watch” earlier last year, calling him a “promising young talent.” You may have seen his works in Vogue China, GQ China, Dust, Minimalissimo, Appendix, Schon!, Flaunt magazines and a collaboration with Emily King for her recent music video. We had a closer look to seek his steadily vision which garnering more and more attention in the fashion industry.
