Legendary photographer Peter Lindbergh Reunites 90s Supermodel in New Fashion Film.
For the latest installment of Nowness’s Directors’ Cut series, legendary photographer Peter Lindbergh brought the supermodels together once again for a short, nostalgic film aptly called The Reunion, shooting the ’90s icons he’s famously worked with in the past; Cindy Crawford, Tatjana Patitz, Eva Herzigova, Karen Alexander, Nadja Auermann, and Helena Christensen.
Our obsession with the ’90s era of models is no secret—and the man behind many of the most iconic photographs from this golden age in fashion supers is lensman Peter Lindbergh. The piercing stares emanating from Lindbergh’s signature black and white portraits come as a result of long-lasting relationships with his subjects, enabling him to strip them of artifice – an approach which perhaps has it roots in Lindbergh’s beginnings as a painter.
