The highly anticipated superhero movie from Marvel Black Panther just dropped the soundtrack and music video online called “All The Stars” by none other than the most talented Kendrick Lamar and SZA. Directed by Dave Mayers and The Little Homies, just like the movie itself, the video is full of celebration of African Culture with a burst of colorful visual, exceptional styling and majestic set. The music video serves us some major footage from start to finish and not even showing some scene from the movie. Kendrick and SZA wore some over the top glamorous fashion from head to toe, the both looking like queen and king, all connected with the Afrofuturist aesthetics of the Black Panther fictional setting of Wakanda.
The video opens with Kendrick standing over a sea of people looking majestic like a young king and on the other side SZA looks like in a galaxy far away singing and dancing in the middle of constellation. A lots of symbolic meaning behind every scenes in the music video, probably will be more understandable after watching the movie that will be coming this 16 February.
