Karl Lagerfeld turns Grand Palais into a wild forest full of decoration of tree and woods. The theme of this season is “Neo-clasiccal”, he said. So the designer got pretty much inspiration from Weimar, one of a city in Germany which is famous for its cultural heritage. Mostly, the silhouettes emphasize the famous Lagerfeld “frame shoulders”.
This comes with detailing of tweeds, sparkles, glitters, and metallic. As the collection shows its full attention to detail, it is very much detailing that Lagerfeld put into account here. All of the flower pattern looks alike are actually embroidery that makes the beauty of couture itself. Such a beautiful summer that turns this spring into bloom. (Text Dinta Jakile)
