Boiler Room hosts beachside session in Bali. After its online parties and DJ sets brought huge commercial success, the company is now preparing to launch its next session in Bali with Gerd Janson headlining the event.
The iconic Boiler Room brand continues to focus on existing local scenes when then hit the shores of Bali on Saturday 7th of December and collaborate with one of the island’s favorite parties: Basement Love x PNNY.
Known for bringing the likes of Kornel Kovacs, Ata, Octo Octa & Eris Drew, Chaos in the CBD, Eclair Fifi, Spencer parker, DJ Seinfeld, Massimiliano Pagliara and many more to The Island Of The Gods on a monthly basis, this special edition will see Running Back label boss Gerd Janson and Panorama Bar / Berghain resident ND_Baumecker as well as local DJs Mistral and the Tantrà collective.
Gerd is without a doubt one of the hottest disco and house talents on the international DJ circuit. His sets are revered as some of the best in the industry, known for unearthing the gems that get other music lovers hot and excited, Gerd Janson will surely leave you feeling in a state of awe after his Boiler Room set.
This pioneering party is a collaboration with scene-leading locals Tiago Oudman: the co-founder of Basement Love and Gilang Asmara: the co-founder of PNNY. Tiago was born and bred in Lisbon Portugal, before his love of music landed him in Berlin in 2008. Here he played regularly in some of the cities most revered spots. He then made the big leap to the southern hemisphere as a DJ, promoter and set designer at many of the major festivals across Australia. Tiago is also one of the co-founders of the magical Air Festival in Bali. But Tiago is above all a DJ’s DJ, covering anything from Detroit house, to rare old school garage, to 70’s African disco.
The PNNY crew are the leading home-grown collective on the island and are also behind their own clothing brand: house of PNNY. These group of friends has been hanging, partying, playing and promoting for years despite all being relative young guns. The result is their energy is infectious and when it comes to throwing it down on a dance-floor in Bali they are second to none! Boasting no less than eight DJs amongst their ranks they can work out a crowd and bring the noise better than any other collective.
This is set to be a historic event in the young but ever-growing dance music history of Bali. The venue for all this is La Brisa, a stunning restaurant, a beach club and treehouse amongst other things. It is one of the most beautiful and open spaces to party on the island and allows you to dance among the swaying palm trees just meters from the crashing waves of the blissful ocean.
